£27,513 - £28,433 per annum, dependent on qualifications & experience

37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, temporary up to 1 year to cover Maternity Leave

Boston College is looking to recruit a Full-Time Examinations Officer to join the College’s busy examinations department, ensuring full compliance with regulations.  The successful candidate will be responsible for booking and administering online exams and written exams.  Other responsibilities will include deputising for the Exams Manager, assisting and organising invigilation, registering learners with the various awarding bodies, claiming achievements and distributing student’s results alongside general office duties. 

The successful candidate must have the ability to follow written procedures and prioritise their own workload. They must also have previous experience of data input and keyboard skills, general administrative experience with Level 3 Business Administration and Level 2 IT qualification or relevant work-based experience to this level.  They must have excellent organisation skills with the ability to cope under pressure, work to strict deadlines, be methodical in their approach, have good attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, ability to travel between sites and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
