Summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Process routine and urgent referrals accurately and promptly Manage referrals via the NHS e-Referral Service (ERS) and community pathways Coordinate imaging referrals including X-Rays and Ultrasound Scans (USS) Complete and submit 2WW (Two-Week Wait) proformas in line with national guidance Maintain and monitor referral-related worklists to ensure timely follow-up Monitor and action advice and guidance responses, ensuring fast turnaround Audit all outbound referrals for quality and timeliness Prepare and report weekly referral progress data to the Operations Manager or Management Team Manage the dedicated referral email inbox, ensuring timely responses Allocate referral worklists to team members, supporting effective task distribution Process administrative queries submitted via online consultation systems Handle incoming calls from patients and professionals regarding referral queries Manage and action EMIS workflow tasks relating to referrals
