Responsibilities
Assist the Team Manager in the day-to-day operations of the social care team.
Supervise and support social care staff in their casework and development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to ensure comprehensive care for service users.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of service delivery pathways.
Requirements
Qualified social worker with relevant social work degree and registration.
Significant experience in social care, particularly in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of current legislation and best practices in social care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Skills in risk assessment and management within social care contexts.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.03
