Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with their client based in Hebburn. Our client delivers wood and timber products. Although some manual lifting will be involved, the majority of stock is forklifted off for the Driver.
The Role: Multi-drop deliveries of wood and timber products using a curtain sider. Majority of deliveries are forklifted off, but some handballing may be required. Ensuring efficient and accurate deliveries to customers within set timeframes. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and a friendly attitude are essential. The Candidate: Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (LGV C) driving licence. Minimum 1 year of commercial Class 2 driving experience required. Smart appearance with a positive, customer-focused approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
