Summary

Are you passionate about creating safer futures for children and families affected by domestic abuse? We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Worker to join our team and play a crucial role in addressing the root causes of domestic abuse.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Domestic Abuse Team supporting and protecting children, young people and families who are affected by Domestic Abuse. The team is made up of Social Workers and an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) and we support families who are open to Children’s Social Care on Child in Need and Child Protection plans.

Key Responsibilities of the Perpetrator worker:
• Conduct risk assessments in partnership with children’s social workers.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 interventions with individuals who have perpetrated domestic abuse.
• Support colleagues in developing confidence and best practices for engaging with perpetrators.
• Promote trauma-informed and risk-aware approaches throughout your work.
• Maintain accurate, timely records using online systems.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external partners, including probation services.

About You:
• Proven experience working with individuals who have perpetrated domestic abuse.
• Strong understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on children and survivors.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and trauma-informed practices.
• Organised, proactive, and confident in working both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model across home, office, and partner agency settings.
