Hours: Part Time
Rate: £40 - 45 per hour
Interviews: Immediate Trial
At Remedy we are looking for an Outreach Tutor to support a year 4 pupil who cannot attend a mainstream school due to a temporary physical disability. Working in pupils' homes, local libraries, or schools, you'll have the opportunity to help students build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve meaningful educational outcomes in core subjects such as English, Maths, PSHE, as well as through interventions and mentoring. The session will typically last 2 hours.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY EDUCATION, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
