Summary

Outreach Tutor Opportunity - Immediate Start (RM8)

We are looking for a confident and compassionate Outreach Tutor to start immediately, working with a bright and capable Year 9 student who is moving into Year 10. Based in the RM8 area, this is a meaningful opportunity for someone experienced in alternative provision or one-to-one support to make a genuine impact.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a one-to-one teaching environment and is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-level tuition in both Maths and English

Provide academic structure and emotional consistency to support a student with anxiety

Build a positive working relationship while maintaining strong professional boundaries

What We're Looking For

Experience working as an Outreach Tutor or with students outside of mainstream settings


Experience working as an Outreach Tutor or with students outside of mainstream settings

Strong knowledge of GCSE English and Maths

Experience supporting young people with SEMH, especially anxiety-related school avoidance
