Reed Education are proud to present this exciting opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant at a highly regarded primary SEND provision in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference to the lives of young people with complex SEND needs.
- Work closely with teachers to embed a personalised learning experience for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who need additional help.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support pupils' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions.
- Support with routine administrative tasks to aid smooth classroom operations.

The school is rated 'Good' in their most recent OFSTED report. It is a specialist school with multiple provision which cater for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a range of complex SEND, including:
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Physical and Sensory Needs

- Experience in a special educational needs setting.

- Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable or willingness to work towards one.
