Summary

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in the Bracknell area on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored educational support outside of a traditional classroom setting.

About the Role:

Provide one-to-one tutoring for children and young people with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Develop and deliver personalised learning plans based on each student's individual needs and EHCPs.

- Position - One to one tutor

- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - Until sufficient progression is made
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full-time/part-time - Part time (dependent on pupils needs)
- Minimum rate of pay - £25 per hour
- Hours - Timetable can vary dependent on pupil availability

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Tutor:
- QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
- Be confident teaching GCSE classes online
- Provide a firm but fair approach
- Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
