Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an individual to take on this combined role of Out of School Club Playworker and Teaching assistant, to ensure the provision of high-quality provision for our children in our Out of School Club, in class support (mainly EYFS) and lunchtime assistant where you will collaborate with the Class Teacher to assist in learning as well as providing support to individual and small groups of pupils.
You will be required to be flexible in your approach, looking to continually seek improvements, in order to enhance everything, we do.
You will:
• Have previous experience in this type of role.
• Be supportive, nurturing, patient and understanding.
• Be able to develop positive working relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other professionals.
• Be willing to undertake and act on relevant professional development and training.
• Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children.
• Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
