Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV1 Cat C+E Bulk Tipper Drivers Class 1 Tipper Driver - Dalton
The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics company based in Dalton, who are looking to expand their team with a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Tipper Driver.
This role involves delivering aggregates across the North East, with additional flatbed work available. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.
Job Duties: Delivery of aggregates across the North East using a Class 1 tipper Occasional flatbed work - no handballing required All loads must be securely strapped down Operating in a professional and safety-conscious manner Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC (DQC) Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years commercial UK Class 1 experience (for insurance purposes) Minimum 12 months' tipping experience required Maximum 6 points for minor offences - No DR or IN endorsements Hours of Work: Typically 11-12 hour shifts Monday to Friday Ongoing work available Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Weekly pay Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Pension contributions Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work' - exclusive discounts and offers for temporary workers Registration: Successful candidates will be invited to register online via our digital onboarding system.
