Summary
Title: Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer The Best Connection are looking to recruit an Electrically Biased, Controls/Automation Engineer for our client, based in Goole. This is initially a temporary position with a view to going Permanent following a successful probation period.
The Successful Applicant An experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance/Automation experience ideally from a warehouse/logistics background A recognised qualification in Engineering. An understanding in PLC and SCADA systems is desirable Proficiency in automation software and programming languages. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team What's on Offer Up to £50,000 per Annum subject to experience/qualifications Opportunities for professional development and growth. The Role: Design and develop range of control & conveyor based automation systems PLC programming / testing System assembly & in-house testing Project management Produce technical documents Assistance with on-site installation/commissioning Occasional overseas travel The Person: Controls / Automation Engineer Experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley preferred Looking to make an impact within a family run business. Happy with occasional travel
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
