Summary
Title: LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver / HGV Driver The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for one of our major clients in Basingstoke.
We are accepting New Pass Class 2s! Induction and Driving assessments Available 24th June!!
Rate of Pay: £17.70 per hour £26.55 per hour after 48 hours Hours of work: 5 days out of 7 Start either 05:00 - 07:00 to Finish This job offers a temp to perm role for the right candidate Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver: Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Basingstoke to various locations in Hampshire Face to face customer interaction Load and unload of vehicle with help from Drivers Mate and Warehouse Staff Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.) Report any safety issues on standard reports. Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely. Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the Class 2 Driver: Category C Licence. CPC. Digi Tacho. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, DIGI Tacho and CPC card.
