About the role
Do you want to be part of a service that plays an essential role in your community?
The School and College Transport Team are currently have a number of permanent vacancies for a Passenger Assistant to work escorting pupils with special educational needs from home to school. You will be required to work a split day, travelling on the morning and afternoon journey.
Hours of work vary but typically average 8-16 hours per week, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements.
There are currently permanent vacancies, Monday to Friday with children travelling to:
- Our Lady of Lourdes Primary
- Woodhey High School
You will be expected to meet the vehicle at a collection point that will not be your home address.
You will be responsible for the care and welfare of the pupils travelling, ensuring that they reach their destination safely. To help you achieve this, you will be expected to attend all appropriate training as and when required.
