CWA are proud of the work we do at our Applewood nursery. Each day we provide a fantastic range of play and educational activities. There is regular routine, which takes into account the different stages of development and individual interests of the children in our care. Activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and we seek to involve children in the planning processes to ensure we satisfy their needs and interests.
Applewood Nursery is a thriving purpose built nursery in the grounds of The College of West Anglia and provides childcare opportunities to the local community as well as our own staff. This role provides essential support for our children. We are open Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30, all year round. we accept Early Education funded children. we have three rooms in the nursery:- bumblebees (3 months - 2 years), ladybirds (2 - 3 years) and grasshoppers (3 - 4 and a half years) We are seeking casual staff to cover holidays and sickness, sometimes at short notice.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Nursery team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
