Summary

Learning Support Assistants- TDJS To commence September 2025 Term time only We are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to support our Teachers in delivering high quality learning. The ideal candidates will have a relevant qualification and/or previous experience working with children, although training will be given for the right person new to learning support. This role may also suit someone considering teaching as a future career, and wishes to gain experience supporting teaching and learning. Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, as well as a love of learning and the desire to support our children achieve the best they can. We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistant roles, working either in our mainstream provision or within our Learning and Additional Needs Specialist Centre. All roles commence in September 2025 and are for 32.5 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidates would be extremely well supported, working alongside a passionate team of teachers. The working pattern for each role is Monday - Friday, term time only, 8.30am-3.30pm. The annual salary is £17, 962 for 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum. (pay award pending). Thames Ditton Junior School is a popular 3 form entry Junior School located on the borders of south west London, with 360 pupils from Year 3 to 6, and is part of the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership. We also have a specialist Learning and Additional Needs (LAN) provision within the school providing places for 16 children with moderate learning, and/or speech and language, difficulties.
