Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated experienced School Admin Officer who can:
Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the school staff, organising the school office to ensure that routine clerical functions are undertaken efficiently
• Provide a reception service for the school to ensure that visitors are dealt with appropriately
• Day to day supervision of admin assistant
• Complete and submit complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies e.g. DfES
• Manage the administration of facilities including use of school premises
• Undertake the administration of staff records, including the process of staff appointments and terminations, keeping accurate records of absence and other routine personnel management tasks
• Ensure that pupil records are accurately maintained and reported on or transferred as required
• Assist with the planning, monitoring and evaluation of budget, administering the schools accounts and providing the appropriate financial reports for the Headteacher and Governors
• Meet deadlines in high pressured situations
• Be highly organised, flexible, and responsive to change
• Be an excellent communicator who is fully supportive of our school values

The job will be offered on a permanent contract, depending on the candidate’s experience. The role is for 30 hours per week, term time only, including TD days, with an additional week paid during the school holidays for Admin duties.Pay scale NJC L Grade depending on experience
