- Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' needs.
- Guide students in effective time management and study techniques.
- Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with college staff to create a cohesive support system.
- Utilize online teaching technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
- Attend regular meetings and professional development sessions.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the study skills support program.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
- Postgraduate qualification.
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience supporting autistic students (minimum 1 year).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success.
- Completion of the National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (or willingness to complete them).
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing online teaching platforms and technologies.
