Position description / Job description

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' needs.
  • Guide students in effective time management and study techniques.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with college staff to create a cohesive support system.
  • Utilize online teaching technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
  • Attend regular meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the study skills support program.

Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • Postgraduate qualification.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience supporting autistic students (minimum 1 year).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success.
  • Completion of the National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (or willingness to complete them).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing online teaching platforms and technologies.
