Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the delivery of compliance and small-scale construction projects across Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) sites throughout the UK. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Head of Programmes and Project/Programme Managers, you will contribute to the successful execution of a wide range of property-related initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management. The role offers hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery, with access to training and development to enhance your skills and support your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of works, ensuring that all documentation complies with safety and CDM regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing project documentation, supporting the development of work schedules and GANTT charts, and coordinating site access for staff, contractors, and visitors in line with safety protocols.

You will also be responsible for raising and managing purchase orders, liaising with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. As the primary point of contact for security-related matters, you will facilitate effective communication between the programme team and site security personnel.

In addition, you will provide general administrative support, including attending meetings, taking minutes, and contributing to programme reporting. Your ability to stay organized, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and capable of anticipating project needs. You should have strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high standards of work. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential, and experience with Microsoft Project is desirable. Familiarity with SAP, Coupa, and internal Mitie or LBG systems would be an advantage.
