Summary

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.
Larwood House, located in Kirkby in Ashfield, is a registered residential care home for up to 9 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

• 35 hours per week. Shifts will include 7 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 9 pm, and waking nights 9 pm to 7 am. Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.

What you’ll be doing:
• Taking part in the chosen activities and interests of the people we support.
• Meeting the individual needs of the people we support.
• Supporting with cooking, cleaning, and everyday tasks.
• Supporting to increase levels of confidence and everyday skills.
• Will involve personal care.
Who you are:
• The role requires a motivated and creative individual.
• A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Full flexibility is needed. Shifts will include 7 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 9 pm, and waking nights 9 pm to 7 am. Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.
• Experience of working in a social care setting, supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs, is preferred but not essential.
• Drivers preferred.
