Randstad is partnering with local authorities in Kent to provide additional tutoring support for students with social, emotional, and mental health conditions. This will be to offer a pastoral based support also covering the core subjects Maths, English, and Science. We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals with experience working with children to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for tutors to work with primary and secondary aged pupils, offering support in Maths, English, and Science. Successful candidates will have the flexibility to manage their own schedules and workloads.

Responsibilities
- Develop personalized lesson plans
- Assess student progress and record achievement levels
- Deliver engaging and effective tuition sessions
- Achieve measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders
- Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines
Desired Experience
- Experience tutoring students needing additional support
- Hold QTS
- Ability to accept supervision and feedback
- Experience in inclusive settings (desirable)
- Familiarity with supporting students with SEND, SEMH conditions or looked-after children (desirable)
Essential Qualities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in IT skills and reliable internet access
- Ability to build rapport and motivate students
