Summary
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Responsible for general warehouse duties involving physical handling of products, materials, supplies and equipment
- Line Feeding Production Lines with raw materials and removing finished goods with FLT.
- Operate industrial power equipment
- Restock and replenish as appropriate
- Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company Health and Safety requirements.
- Carry out accurate stock counts and complete relevant documentation.
- Enter transactions into Operating System.
- Track receipts and shipments.
- Ensue data integrity and accuracy is 100% at all times.
- Fill in for other positions within the business as required.
Core Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and documentation.
- Counterbalance Forklift Training and a holding valid in date licence is essential.
- At least 2 years experience operating a Forklift in a fast moving environment.
- The position also requires a proven ability to work under minimal supervision along with a high level of motivation.
- Be meticulous, organised and have the ability to work well under pressure.
- PC Skills.
Typical Experience/Education:
- Minimum 2 years Warehouse experience.
- Current Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential
- Second Level Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of using computer stock control systems.
