Summary
We are currently recruiting for x 1 Deputy Operations Manager. This role is a deputy duty manager role, working in our Security Control Centre based onsite.
Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4 (3 days, 4 nights, 3 days off, 4 days, 3 nights, 4 days off).
Shift Times: 07.00 - 19.00 and 19.00 - 07.00
Rate of Pay: £16.80 per hour, plus shift allowance of £10.74 per complete shift once completed CIM training.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Security Control Centre
-Reporting directly to the duty Operations Manager
-Contractual compliance
-Maintaining & delivering 'Excellent Customer Service'
-Ensuring all officers are competent to undertake their duties
-Assisting the management team with officer training, disciplinary and welfare issues.
-Monitoring and responding to emails sent directly to the SCC
-Monitoring and responding to alarms
-In-depth knowledge of the Assignment Instructions
-Knowledge of the building and its occupants
-Covering other roles when required to do so for operational requirements, including the role of Operations Manager.
-Assist the Operations Manager with incident response and reporting
-Assist the Operations Manager in covering any gaps on the roster and forward planning for any potential gaps
-Health & Safety awareness.
Essential
-SIA SG/DS & CCTV licenses required.
-IT literate, proficient in using Microsoft Office & Google Mail
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-CTC cleared prior to commencing work (completed as part of application process). Three year minimum residency criteria applies.
-Flexible attitude to work
-Excellent 'Customer Service' skills
-Planning and organisational skills
-Previous experience of working in a security Control Room
-Previous supervisory experience
-Attention to detail
-Ability to cover the Operations Manager role and the willingness to undertake further training as and when required
-Ability to contribute to the team.
Desirable
-First Aid at Work certificate
Please note, you will need to have completed and passed a communication assessment & Critical Incident Management training prior to commencing work in the Control Room.
