Summary
Relief Security Officer - Lincoln, Newark, SpaldingLocation: Covering sites across Lincoln, Newark, Spalding (includes sites like RAF-Scampton)We offer Contract for 8 hours per week however you'll be required to work more hours based on business needsShifts: Days, nights, weekends - covering holidays, sick leave, and last-minute absences
About the RoleWe're looking for a professional and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team supporting operations in Lincoln, Newark, Spalding. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, secure environment across the area by covering shifts at short notice, including weekends and nights.
As part of a trusted Mitie team, you'll be protecting people, property, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver effective security across Network Rail and other Derby, Burton sites in line with Assignment Instructions (AIs)
-Remain alert and respond promptly to incidents, risks, and emergencies
-Maintain clear and accurate incident logs and follow escalation protocols
-Operate security systems and contribute to a safe, compliant workplace
-Represent the security team with professionalism and integrity at all times
What You'll Need
-Valid SIA Licence
-Must Have a valid Driving licence and access to your own vehicle
-Previous experience in a security role
-Strong awareness and decision-making under pressure
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Flexibility - availability at short notice, including weekends and night shifts
