Are you someone with a big heart, endless patience, and a strong sense of purpose? We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and resilient Support Workers to join our team at a specialist residential home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to change lives, build trust, and help young people rediscover hope and happiness.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel valued and supported.
• Supporting young people to develop life skills, confidence, and independence.
• Encouraging participation in fun activities, hobbies, and community outings.
• Assisting with day-to-day routines, care plans, and emotional support.
• Being a positive role model and promoting healthy relationships.
• Maintaining clear and accurate records in line with safeguarding standards.
About You:
• You must hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
• Experience in children’s residential care or working with EBD is desirable — but we value the right attitude, empathy, and resilience above all.
• Comfortable working shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins (enhanced rates apply).
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Why Join Us?
• £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
• Additional pay for sleep-in shifts
• Continuous training, professional development, and clear career progression routes.
• A supportive, friendly, and inclusive team culture.
• The chance to truly make a difference to young lives, every single day.
