Summary

Field Engineer - Electrical, Marine or Industrial
Grantham HQ, Field Based (onshore & offshore sites)
£28,000 - £50,000 (inclusive of overseas incentives and travel expenses)

Our market-leading Client is seeking an adaptable, hands-on Field Engineer that is looking for a global career in marine and industrial systems. We are considering entry-level Candidates however, some base knowledge / qualifications would be advantageous.

This role will be based from the Company's Head Office in Lincolnshire but the successful Candidate will be required to travel to onshore and offshore sites worldwide, installing, commissioning, and maintaining advanced electrical systems. During site downtime, you will be based at the Lincolnshire Headquarters, supporting production, testing, and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain transformer rectifier units.
- Install and service anti-fouling and marine growth prevention systems (MGPS, ICAF).
- Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and performance evaluations.
- Work offshore and in remote environments, following international safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain accurate service documentation.
- When not on site, support in-house testing, production, and system preparation at the Workshop in Lincolnshire.
- Participate in ongoing training, equipment R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate

- HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical, Marine, or Industrial Engineering.
- Offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET, HUET, etc.) – or willingness to obtain.
- Solid understanding of electrical control systems, marine technologies, and safety standards.
- Self-starter with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- Willing and able to travel extensively, including offshore deployments.
- Team player who is equally comfortable working independently on site or collaboratively in a workshop.
