Summary

Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,027.20 per annum

Based at: Gwent Carers Hub and accessing schools across the 5 Boroughs

Contract: Fixed term until September 30st 2025, likely extension until March 2027

Role Purpose:

This service plays a pivotal role in providing a Schools with the support they require to achieve the accreditation.
You will be responsible for:
• Co-ordinating and developing the delivery of the Young Carers in Schools Programme within formal education settings across Gwent.
• Undertake research amongst schools to identify interest in the Young Carers in Schools Programme.
• Support interested schools in implementing the programme and gaining the Gwent Regional Partnership Board Award at the appropriate level, for example; The Basics, Beyond the Basics and Best Practice.

• Cydlynu a datblygu darpariaeth y Rhaglen Gofalwyr Ifanc mewn Ysgolion o fewn lleoliadau addysg ffurfiol ledled Gwent.
• Cynnal ymchwil ymhlith ysgolion i ganfod diddordeb yn y Rhaglen Gofalwyr Ifanc mewn Ysgolion.
• Cefnogi ysgolion sydd â diddordeb i weithredu'r rhaglen ac ennill Gwobr Bwrdd Partneriaeth Ranbarthol Gwent ar y lefel briodol, er enghraifft; Y Hanfodion, Tu Hwnt i'r Hanfodion ac Arfer Gorau.
