Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Loader-Building Services & Maintenance, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary:
Monmouthshire County Council is seeking dedicated and reliable Recycling & Waste Collection Operatives to support the Councils commitment to providing high-quality waste and recycling services. As a Loader, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient kerbside collections, ensuring cleanliness and safety across the county, and upholding the Councils standards of public service.
Responsibilities:
Provide a courteous and professional service to the public at all times.
Undertake duties at other depot locations as needed; travel may be required.
Provide relief support as an HGV Driver/Team Leader if qualified (with additional pay).
Be available to support emergency responses (e.g., flooding, snow clearance).
Leave collection areas clean and safe, returning bins or receptacles to their original location without blocking access points.
Essentials:
Experience working in an operational, labour-intensive role (e.g., refuse collection, grounds maintenance).
Understanding of and commitment to health and safety practices
Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., health & safety, sharps awareness).
Clean, current UK driving license.
