Summary

Supporting the adult bladder and bowel team in accepting electronic referrals and tasks, action appropriately, follows SOPs, procedures and treatment plans whilst seeking advice if required. Manages own workload with an understanding of what needs to be done, when and why in order to assist the function of the team. Has the ability to flexible and prioritise if required due to an unexpected or urgent need. Provide staff with advice re administrative procedures and help with access as required. This includes general admin duties and IAA functions. Communicate with patients, relatives and health care practitioners effectively Demonstrating effective time management skills and participates in the monitoring and reviewing of team performance. Gather key audit data from electronic systems and produce reports to adult bladder and bowel lead nurses as requested and within time scales. Promote an environment where health promotion and informed patient choice is encouraged and developed to its maximum potential, within the available resources To undertake relevant training to enable the provision of a high quality service. To complete effective record keeping in accordance with Trust policy and legal requirements. To commit to continuous personal development / lifelong learning by attending mandatory training, relevant training courses , use of eLearning and adhere to all trust policies and procedures. To attend regular admin meetings / 1:1 sessions, to undertake appraisal preparation and contribute to objective setting and personal development planning. To participate in and contribute to all activities associated with the teams response to current trends and changes within the NHS Any other duties requested by the lead nurse
