Job Vacancy: Greenkeeper at Foxhills Collection
Are you passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful golf courses? Foxhills Collection is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our team on the weekends and contribute to the upkeep of our stunning courses at our prestigious establishment.
Position: Greenkeeper - weekend availability only
Location: Farleigh Golf Club, Warlingham, Surrey
Type: Casual contract, working weekend mornings

Responsibilities:
- Switching and Brushing greens
- Mowing
- Scarifying turf
- Applying top dressing, pesticides, fertiliser
- Divotting
- Irrigating, aerating turf
- Identifying and controlling pests, diseases
- Marking of hazards out of bounds GUR
- Moving Tee blocks
- Changing holes
- Maintaining course furniture
- Reporting machine failures
- Laying drains
- Seedbed preparation
- Construction and maintenance of tees, greens, bunkers
- Establishing and maintaining trees
- Working within the clubs environmental policy
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working envionrment including sheds, surrounds, machinery and equipment.
- Working within Health & safety guidelines
- Reporting dangerous situations
- Drive all terrain vehicles
- To be courteous to our members and answer any questions they may have while on the course.
- To identify and notify senior members of staff about any disease or damage.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in greenkeeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must work in a way that abides to all health and safety legislation.
- Be able to follow instruction and work well both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work Saturdays and Sundays
