Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of The Void and Decants Team.
We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
The Council is recruiting for an Assistant Repairs Team Leader.
Role Overview
The role involves the day to day running of an 8 person team dealing with capital work on our Major Voids program. This involves the installation of Kitchens and Bathrooms in our empty homes getting them ready in a fast paced environment for the next resident to move in to.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience of supervising a multi trade team, preferably in a social housing environment. Have a good understanding of why a void needs to be returned to let quickly and a good knowledge of current health and safety legislation and social housing compliance requirements.
