Details:
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Chef on a full time permanent basis to be based in Forres.
You will be responsible for delivering a high level of food to guests including:
The preparation, presentation and service of dishes for a variety of events or services.
Developing and maintaining extensive knowledge of menus and food offerings.
Control of purchasing and supplier relationships.
Implementing and overseeing date labelling processes.
Ensure compliance with all food safety and health and safety guidelines.
Person specification:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Experience of menu planning and delivery.
Relevant food safety & hygiene certificates.
A real passion for food, attention to detail.
Determination to deliver consistent high standards.
Personal attributes:
Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capable of building and maintaining relationships with various contacts.
Well organised and capable of managing a varied workload.
