What you'll be doing;
- Assist Regional Environmental Engineer in managing Environmental and Quality systems across 3 ERFs
- Implement and monitor daily environmental compliance requirements
- Support ERF management in meeting environmental monitoring and reporting obligations
- Plan and coordinate environmental monitoring and testing according to permit standards
- Produce required reports under Environmental Permit and other regulations
- Manage and liaise with third-party contractors for environmental monitoring programs
- Coordinate with ERF Operational staff to maintain compliance and resolve issues
- Travel between multiple sites, including potential overnight stays as required
What we're looking for;
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial regulations, emissions, and environmental permitting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Flexible, positive attitude with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels
- Proficient in IT, particularly spreadsheet applications
- Valid driving license with willingness to work flexible hours
- Science/Engineering qualification preferred (environmental, chemistry, engineering)
- Understanding of combustion processes and industrial health & safety protocols
