Your new company
Hays Education are working with a primary school in Formby that is looking for a Level 3 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will be full-time and long-term, starting in September.
Your new role
This role involves working in a reception class, 1:1 with a pupil in reception with SEN needs. This is a long-term, full-time position and the working hours are 08:30-15:30.
It will involve working closely with the pupils, assisting with work, behaviour and learning. You will build a relationship so you can fully support the pupil both inside and outside the classroom.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need a DBS on the update service as well as:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
- 2+ years experience working with reception-aged pupils (references needed)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN needs, including ASD
- Full-time availability
- Knowledge of SEND and safeguarding
