Summary
Job Title: Soft Services Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work with a range of Mitie clients to manage a cleaning team, including recruitment and development of staff and maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.
Duties and responsibilities include
-Responsible for achieving and maintaining the client specification as set in contractual requirements
-Daily liaison with clients and Line Manager
-Daily monitoring of high profile areas to ensure readiness at start of business
-Complete check sheets and issue to staff as appropriate ensuring tasks are completed
-Good communication with all staff to promote a one team attitude
-Report any maintenance issues to Help Desk
-Deal with any complaints in a professional and timely manner
-Compliance with client and Mitie Health and Safety
-Report accidents and near miss as per company and client procedures
-Maintain and keep up to date Mitie Site pack documentation
-Staff training and record keeping
-Assistance with submitting accurate wage details to Manager
-Manage hours and organise holiday / sickness cover with Soft Services Manager
Person Specification
-Supervisory experience preferred
-Ability to communicate at all levels
-Ability to work on own and in team
-Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
-Flexibility essential in workload and possibly hours if needed
-Work both pro-actively and re-actively
-Undertake variety of tasks that are within this role
-Knowledge & understanding of health and safety policies
-Implementation of H&S policies and procedures
-Strong IT & administration skills
-Needs to represent Mitie values on site by being presentable, uniformed, affable and helpful at all times
-Willing to go the extra mile
-Driving license desirable
