Summary

We have exciting plans to expand and are looking for an experience hands on team member to join our small but resourceful proactive, team that keep our estate safe, legal, compliant and fully operational.

The Aldingbourne Country Centre is a popular Visitor Attraction located on the edge of the South Downs National Park offering a great day out for families to play, a state-of-the-art conference centre for people to meet and a welcoming café where everyone can eat.

With over 60,000 visitors a year, we pride ourselves on giving people a great experience in an attractive, creative and welcoming environment which includes state of the art buildings, open farm, various indoor and outdoor play areas, woodland walk, maze, camping fields and carparks.

If you are Multi-skilled with proven experience in building maintenance, engineering, or in a construction environment with hands on practical experience of plumbing, lighting/electrical and general building repairs we would want to hear from you.

Working 5 days from 7 pattern preferably Tuesdays to Sunday, (flexible if required ), the site is open 350 days a year !

Duties include :

Ensure a safe and functioning environment for all users of the site that complies with all Health and Safety legislation, Safeguarding and other operational policies. You will be carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks to agreed schedules to ensure the Country Centre grounds look their best throughout the year for the people we support, our visitors and all other users of the site


Essential:

Multi-skilled with experience in reactive building maintenance, engineering, or construction environment
Proven experience with plumbing repairs, light electrical and general building repairs
Technically savvy/competent
Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative.
Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to form excellent relationships with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
A positive approach to challenges which demonstrates creativity and an ability to produce solutions.
