Summary

We're looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team based Rushden.



Location: Rushden- hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us



What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team, supporting them with the costings and balance sheet reconciliations

Your day to day will include:

-Cost allocation to operational Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks contracts, including, but not limited to:
-Payroll

-Expenses

-Fleet

-Travel

-IT

-Preparation and posting of journals and accruals.

-Maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Investigate and resolve any variances that arise.

-Assist in improving cost controls.

-Overhead reporting and analysis.



What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Accountant is great for you if:

-Computer literate with strong excel skills.

-Enthusiastic and motivated

-Ability to work on own initiative (essential)

-Studying towards AAT and have level 2 or above.
