The RoleWe are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Bradford this September. This role offers the chance to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities at KS5 depending on experience. You'll deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and contribute to a wider school culture that fosters personal growth and academic excellence.

Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A passion for English and a commitment to student progress
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Creative lesson planning and delivery
- Confident in using data to improve outcomes
- Familiarity with the GCSE curriculum
- Knowledge of differentiation and adaptive teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to KS3 and KS4.
- Use data to inform planning and set challenging targets.
- Deliver both English Language and Literature lessons across a range of abilities.
- Support students with varying needs, including EAL and SEND.
- Prepare students for GCSE assessments with rigour and creativity.
- Mark work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Promote a love of reading and independent learning.
- Organise or contribute to extra-curricular activities such as reading clubs or poetry slams.
- Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Contribute to cross-curricular literacy development across subjects.
