Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group mentoring sessions; develop and implement personalized support plans; provide guidance and support to students facing mental health challenges; build strong, trusting relationships with students; collaborate with university staff to ensure holistic student support.

Qualifications

Registration with a relevant professional body (BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA); experience in providing mental health support to students or young adults; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals; experience developing and implementing support plans; Bachelor's degree (advantageous); NAS training modules beneficial (support provided); commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic support; ability to work independently and as part of a team; availability to work flexible part-time hours.
