What you'll be doing:
· Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on Year 5 learning objectives
· Supporting pupils in developing critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning as they prepare for their final primary years
· Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel respected, motivated, and confident to take risks in their learning
· Using assessment to monitor progress, inform planning, and provide meaningful feedback
· Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met and progress is sustained
What we're looking for:
· A qualified teacher with (or working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with experience or a strong interest in upper Key Stage 2
· A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire and challenge pupils to reach their full potential
· Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a flexible and reflective approach
· A commitment to professional growth and to contributing positively to school life and the wider community
