Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Family Intervention Worker to join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. The MASH team plays a vital role in safeguarding children and young people by bringing together professionals from a range of services to share information, assess risk, and ensure timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.

As a Family Intervention Worker, you will:
• Support families at the earliest opportunity to prevent escalation of need.
• Undertake focused, short-term interventions to improve family resilience and outcomes.
• Work closely with social workers, education, health, and police colleagues to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns.
• Engage with children, young people, and their families to understand their needs, strengths, and risks.
• Help formulate action plans and contribute to decision-making within a multi-agency setting.
