Come and join our Home to School Transport service!
We are looking for caring, confident people to join CTOT, Westmorland and Furness Council’s in-house Transport Operational Team as Passenger Assistants.
TERM TIME ONLY
Hours (if not full time): Monday to Friday, TERM TIME ONLY; Split shift basis
Hours are part-time (split shift), term-time and variable
Permanent and Relief Contract Staff are required.

Who we are looking for…
The role requires successful candidates to be committed to the safety and welfare of passengers (SEND children and vulnerable adults) between the home and the destination (a place of education or training), providing a high standard of passenger care throughout the journey. Enhanced DBS clearance is required. Full training and uniform/PPE is provided as is holiday pay (determined by length of service) and other benefits
We have a range of permanent and Casual Relief (zero hours) vacancies. All contracts offered are Monday to Friday, Term time only on a split shift basis (approx. 7.30 – 9.30am and 14.30 – 16.30pm). We would also consider applicants from those who could either work mornings, or afternoons to cover routes on a “job-share” basis. The hourly rate is £12.45 rising to £12.65 per hour following satisfactory probationary review.

Penrith Operations: Skirsgill Depot, Penrith, CA10 2BQ
It may be possible for passenger assistants to be collected on the route or from home, depending on the location.
