Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor
North London-£32,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
We're partnered with a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use schemes across London. With a growing portfolio in North London, they're looking to bring in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support on a major live project.
You'll be working alongside a commercially strong team who are big on training, development and giving their AQSs real exposure early on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with subcontractor procurement and onboarding
- Assist with valuations, variations, and monthly reporting
- Help track budgets and manage cost data
- Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams
- Contribute to CVRs and commercial reviews
What You'll Bring:
- 1-3 years' experience in a commercial role (ideally main contracting)
- A relevant degree or working towards one
- Confidence working with numbers, systems, and people
- Knowledge of JCT contracts (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Solid attention to detail and a proactive mindset
