Summary

Join us as a Head of Campaigns, Content and Channels

  • You’ll be delivering compelling Group external communications campaigns, aligned with our Group’s purpose and strategic ambitions

  • We’ll look to you to lead the development of creative Group content including using relevant highly visual graphic designs, copywriting to create digital assets

  • This is an opportunity to work closely with senior management to develop strategies for our digital presence and integrated campaign activity, including consumer affairs

What you'll do

Campaigns, Content and Channels team has an integrated approach, bringing together digital strategy, content creation and campaign execution to deliver fantastic storytelling and high impact results. This role leads the team to develop and implement effective Group campaigns using creative content delivered through external channels to build and enhance the reputation of our Group.

In this role, you will oversee the development and delivery of the annual consumer affairs programme by working closely with Marketing and our integrated agency partners on communications campaigns that help us to reach and engage our target consumer audiences.

We’ll look to you to build and utilise essential relationships with relevant Corporate Affairs functions such as Internal Communications, Public Policy, Strategy and Planning as well as adjacent functions such as Marketing to develop fully integrated plans.

You’ll also:

  • Work in partnership with all areas across the function to best support the delivery of the Corporate Affairs strategy as an active member of the External Communications Leadership team

  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of a Group-campaign plan externally utilising creative content and through effective channel management

  • Act as a trusted adviser to Marketing on all aspects of external communications that impact our Group brand, both in terms of opportunities and risks

  • Lead and drive engagement of people across the team through effective performance management

  • Utilise the resources of the team effectively including managing workflow through pooled resources

  • Build necessary working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the campaigns plan

The skills you'll need

We’re on the lookout for a critical thinker, with the ability to work at both a strategic and operational level. You’ll demonstrate exceptional communication, stakeholder management and consultancy skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.

You’ll also need:

  • Demonstrable experience of leading corporate campaign delivery, spanning media and political audiences

  • Effective organisational skills and astute attention to detail

  • The ability to use data analysis, reporting and insights to drive simplification and create efficiencies across systems, processes and budgets
