A well-established men’s clothing company based in Derby is seeking an organised and proactive Import and Export Coordinator to join its growing team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the international movement of goods, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations, and helping streamline import/export processes across the business. You'll work closely with suppliers, freight agents, customs officials, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate international shipments and manage all related customs documentation
• Prepare and process import/export paperwork, including invoices, declarations, and licenses
• Liaise with freight forwarders and global suppliers to schedule and track deliveries
• Ensure compliance with UK and international import/export regulations
• Provide internal teams with timely updates on stock arrivals and lead times
• Monitor delivery schedules and proactively resolve any delays or shipping issues
• Proven experience in an import/export or logistics role
• Knowledge of international shipping processes, incoterms, and customs requirements
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with suppliers and freight companies
• Experience with Excel and stock or order management systems is required

This role is full time working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
This role pays between £26,000 to £30,000 per annum.
