What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sport Coach specialising in netball who can motivate and develop students of all levels of ability.

Working within our team of Coaches and with the Sports Development Coordinator, the ideal candidate will positively contribute to our Sport Enrichment programme which is made available to all students on Wednesday afternoons, by conducting training sessions and deploying strategies to build upon the strengths and weaknesses of both individual players and the team.

What the school offers its staff

Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College’s popularity and success are built upon our commitment to provide our students with the best possible learning experience and the highest standards of support and guidance. We are proud of our dedicated staff and our vibrant student community, as evidenced by our recent Ofsted Inspection, which rated the College as “Outstanding” for Overall Effectiveness and in all other areas, with no recommendations for improvement.

Commitment to safeguarding

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post and the successful applicant will either need to apply for a DBS or give the Trust consent to check their status if they are registered with the Update Service. An online search will be undertaken for shortlisted candidates as part of the recruitment process on information available in the public domain. Candidates should disclose anything that may be relevant in line with KCSIE. This search does not form part of the shortlisting process and candidates will have the chance to discuss any issues of concern at interview.
