Job Title: Student Attendance Officer
Pay Range: Scale 3 Points 5-6 £24,790.00 - £25,183.00 (pro rata) Actual £21,489.00 - £21,829.00
Hours: 37 hours a week, 8.00-4pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00-3.30pm Friday which includes a 30min lunch break. Term Time only plus 3 Inset Days. Finish time could be negotiated for the right candidate
Contract: Permanent
Start date: 01st September 2025


We are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to monitor and report on attendance of students across Year 7-11 and to provide an efficient and effective support service administering and maintaining the student attendance records for the school.

Responsibilities will include:-

Ensuring all registers are completed daily.
Managing daily absence calls and logging information.
Being the first point of contact for parents to discuss attendance, sending letters as necessary.
Key administrative tasks in relation to attendance.
