Summary


Are you passionate about respiratory medicine and eager to lead in an exciting, evolving field? With ground breaking new medicines on the horizon, we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Lead Respiratory Pharmacist to drive innovation and deliver exceptional care across Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) and the Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Respiratory care is rapidly advancing, and this role is at the forefront of change. You will play a pivotal role in shaping new pharmacy services, integrating innovative treatments, and ensuring patients receive thehighest standard of respiratory medicine management.

• Lead the way in respiratory pharmacy– Oversee medicines management, ensuring the safe and effective use of new and existing respiratory treatments.
• Drive innovation– Take a proactive role in evaluating and embeddingnew medicines and advanced therapiesinto clinical practice.
• Support and develop the team– Provide expert leadership, training, and mentorship to ensure the development of trainee pharmacist and junior rotational pharmacists.
• Enhance patient outcomes– improving care for patients with conditions such as asthma and COPD, implementing new medicines.
• Ensure financial sustainability– Offer strategic financial insights to optimise medicines use and supportcost-effective prescribing.
