Morgan Hunt is working with a leading college in the Cornwall area to recruit an engaging and motivated Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join the college's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced industry professional or educator looking to inspire the next generation of travel and tourism professionals.
This is a part-time teaching position, working 22.5 hours per week on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to learners on Travel & Tourism programmes, helping them to gain both academic knowledge and real-world understanding of the sector.
The role will involve course planning, assessment, delivery, and pastoral support to learners. You will work as part of a supportive department, contributing to continuous improvement and innovative teaching practice.
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable educator who can bring real industry insights to the classroom. The ideal candidate will have:
- Work-based experience in the travel and tourism sector
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Travel & Tourism
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) - or willingness to work towards one, which can be supported by the college
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, student-focused approach to education
