Morgan Hunt is proud to be supporting a high-performing sixth form college in Luton, renowned for its commitment to educational excellence. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE English Teacher to join their thriving English department from August 2025.
As a GCSE English Teacher, you will play a key role in motivating and supporting students to achieve academic success. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact within an inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment.
- Deliver dynamic and engaging GCSE English lessons to post-16 learners
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and college expectations
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback and support
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and enrichment activities
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS or equivalent)
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching GCSE English, ideally in a post-16 or secondary education setting
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
